The Oriental Fashion Show, an event dedicated to oriental fashion, held another exceptional edition from June 23 to 24, 2024. Once again this year, the sumptuous salons of the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris were vibrating to the rhythm of creativity and elegance from the Orient.
On June 23, exceptional fashion shows showcased the creations of talented designers from Asia, Africa and the Middle East. These refined and original collections draw their inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Silk Road: Lali Fashion by Lali Fazilova (Uzbekistan), L’Altière Maison de Couture (Morocco) Medine Lybaslary (Turkmenistan), Addy van den Krommenacker (Netherlands), Fantazya Fashion By Jamila Alsuwai (Kuwait), Regalia by Hind Berrada (Morocco) Gowher Gouvernet (Turkmenistan), Bakht’ art by Wissal Labbane (Tunisia), Amina Benzekri Benrahal (Morocco) and Khurshed Satorov (Tajikistan).
On June 24, a gala evening was organized with the kind participation of Chopard, with an exceptional fashion show featuring Chopard’s sumptuous Haute Joaillerie creations sublimated by refined couture gowns by Caroline’s Couture. Chopard, the Swiss House of Haute Joaillerie and Watchmaking, is renowned for its exceptional expertise and its ongoing commitment to promoting art and culture.
Bringing together a host of prestigious guests from the worlds of fashion, the arts and business, the evening will be one of glamour and conviviality. The evening is co-organized with two prestigious associations: “Cercle de France” and “Route de la Soie et d’Al-Andalus”, two organizations renowned for their commitment to promoting inter-cultural dialogue and exchanges between East and West. The choice of the “Silk Road” theme is not accidental. It symbolizes the deep ties that have united East and West for centuries, as trade routes have fostered the exchange of goods, ideas and cultures. The Oriental Fashion Show is a bridge between these two worlds, celebrating the diversity
and intermingling of artistic influences.
